Visioning Reflection
Printable Agenda
Here is a list of the pre-work activities that need to be completed prior to the convening:
Individually, please read the NY Times article on The Found Project by Jeff Sudmyer from Springpoint and journal / reflect on this prompt:
During the pandemic, much was “lost” – people lost their jobs, we lost our sense of normalcy, millions of lives were lost. However, given such unusual circumstances, it’s possible that some things were “found.” Consider the various aspects of your life and roles you play. Did you “find” anything as you navigated these last two years? Perhaps they were unexpected? Perhaps you went looking for them?
As a team, create one slide that captures your key Portrait to Practice accomplishments in this school year (use 20 pt font or larger). These will be shared on Day One as part of an opening session celebrating our accomplishments! The discussion prompts will include:
What was your most significant Portrait related accomplishment this year?
What were 1-2 key lessons learned?
As a team, identify and share an artifact that exemplifies a highlight from your Portrait implementation. Please discuss the options with your TLA coaching liaison and send a copy of the artifact to chris@agenda4learning.com by Wednesday, March 30. At the convening, we’ll discuss what you selected and why with peer groups.
As a team, identify a challenge / problem of practice / barrier you are encountering in moving your Portrait into Practice. Identify 1-2 team members who will present this challenge to peers from other Portrait teams for recommendations, advice, and/or suggestions for next steps. Anticipate framing the dilemma in 5 minutes.
Please send the latest copy of your Portrait to chris@agenda4learning.com. We will be updating the Portrait Gallery on the PoG Community Hub and want to ensure we have the latest versions.
