Pinehurst was one of my favorite projects because it involved working with their engineering team to create a custom API to connect our front-end golf reservations to their back-end system. For such a large and prestigious club I did not take these duties lightly. It was a huge success as described in the testimonials below!
I wasn't the lead PM on the project and instead was looped in as a Product Owner to help with the development aspects of the new functionalities. My role was to bridge between the dev teams end users for everything net-new such as establishing the process for operations, optimizing the hardware settings, confirming the file formats and running QA. I also pitched in for a few new front-end design/dev such as custom guest-only times that could be booked further out than any other if certain conditions passed, and with the logic and rules of booking.
You don't have to take my word for it though.
Results:
"The most popular product within the Unified Suite for Pinehurst members was, not surprisingly, the online tee times system. In fact, within 8 days of launching online tee times, 91% of the members were booking online."

"Pinehurst has eight courses and a complex membership structure, so the Clubessential team had to configure their systems with dozens of unusual rules. Their cooperation was great and they met their deadlines. Our group was surprised that their systems could handle all of our tee time variations, but they did and we are pleased to have brought our traditions online as quickly and efficiently as we did."
