We had 8-9 weeks to think and make an assignment yourself. You can make everything you want for this project. I made a video about a game that I really liked just before we had this assignment ( video next to this text ). It was a first person shooter game. I knew immediately that I wanted to create my own multiplayer shooter game. I never made a multiplayer game and knew that this would be perfect for me! I really wanted to know what things comes to past when you work on a Multiplayer game.

I wanted to work on my Level design skills with this project. I wanted to create my own map where I thought of everything and fun things to let my players play together. I analyzed an old map from an other game to understand why the map was build this way.

Below you can find all the maps that I created on paper.
Level 1 that I wanted to create
Level 2 when I had time left to make it
The main focus of my game was that it was a deathmatch game. Where the map was full with traps where players would be able to kill players with the traps. Traps that can be fun in a lot of ways! I also build a spot in the map where the player were able to change the music, set the disco lights on/off or to make the map different with other 3D objects inside it!
I build my map without realistic texture because I had not much time to do that. I only had 8-9 weeks to complete the whole project!

I made a discord group for my game. Here I invited people from my school and friends I knew that wanted to play my game together.
In the discord you could find anything of my game. The weapons with stats, the map, the traps, the rules and how the general gameplay would be. There was also a tap for to fill in the questions I wanted to ask them after the gameplay for research purposes.
They really enjoyed themselves and even wanted to play more games after the first match!
