Instructions for oral presentations

Below are important guidelines to help you prepare and deliver your presentation smoothly:

1. Personal laptops are not permitted.

2. Presentation format: Prepare your slides in PowerPoint or PDF format. Please use landscape orientation for your slides.

3. Note for Mac/Apple users: Convert your presentation to PowerPoint format and use standard fonts (e.g., Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana). Insert images as JPG files. Preferred video format is MP4.

4. You can email your presentation at least one day before your session to: poly-char2025@uom.ac.mu. If email is not possible, bring your presentation on a USB memory stick and submit it to the technician at least 2 hours before your scheduled time and before your session begins.

5. Before the session, please introduce yourself to the Session Chair if needed, as they are responsible for ensuring strict adherence to the schedule.
