A large, bustling city right on the border between Fierte and Gaela. Home to the Pokémon League's headquarters, an international embassy, and the largest tournament venue in the region.
Connections:
Araceli Town (Trolley)
Reselda City (Trolley)
Cycling Road West (West)
Cycling Road East (East)
Carved Sea (South)
Central Sanctuary (Cave)
When arriving for the first time, the trolley is stopped due to an Alpha Absol refusing to get off the tracks, which players can choose to battle and try to capture. Unlike other Alphas, this Absol cannot be rematched if the player fails to capture it.
Once players have arrived in the city for the first time, they will be unable to use the trolley until a police investigation is complete. This investigation lasts until players complete a quest given by Central Sanctuary's Guardian Dronurk, and have either entered a tournament or have turned down the option.
The path to the beach is blocked by Governor Kendrick, Fierte's governor, who must be defeated for players to reach the beach and Central Sanctuary.
The eighth of this region's gyms is found here. The Gym Leaders, Edrick and Lucien, cannot be challenged until after players have obtained the region's other seven Gym Badges.
The Central City Gym also hosts tournaments with applications open to the public, and Battle Points (BP) as rewards.
Two shops in the city sell incredibly useful held items. However, these shops exclusively take BP, and do not accept traditional money.
A Pikachu in the Pokémon Fan Club will allow the player to choose between taking either a Thunder Stone or a Sun Stone, before using whichever wasn't chosen to evolve itself.
A chef in the Pokémon Fan Club can change the flavor of Alcremie that a Milcery will evolve into
A girl in the Embassy sells the sweets that allow Milcery to evolve into Alcremie
A man in the house north of the Pokémon Fan Club will allow players to take either a Black Flute or White Flute, which can be used at Elbirret Shore to cause an encounter with a wild Spirimote.
An old lady in the house west of the Pokémon Center loves Pearls, but can't earn the BP needed to buy them from the shops in the city. She's desperate enough for more Pearls that she'll offer to buy them from the player at 150% market price. ($1500 for Pearls and $6000 for Big Pearls.)
When players first arrive in Central City, the Phone Booth is undergoing maintanence, preventing players from accepting any quests from Dr. Thorne.
