A list of significant characters present throughout the game.
It's you! ...Isn't it?
A young boy/girl who starts their adventure at Dr. Thorne's command, signing up to take the Gym Challenge as they explore the world. Personal history is unknown.
The head of Daedalus Laboratories, and the player's boss.
A highly cold and direct man, who cares for scientific research and seemingly naught else. Highly knowledgeable about Pokémon. Knows more than he lets on.
A fellow trainer taking on the Gym Challenge at the same time as the player.
A cheerful and energetic girl who comes to see the player as something of a friendly rival. Enjoys fighting tough battles, to an extent even when she loses. Wears a hairpin shaped like her favorite Pokémon, Rotom.
The Champion of Fierte and Gaela's shared Pokémon League.
A calm, kind woman who maintains a calm and collected persona. Possesses an incredible affinity with Pokémon, even wild ones, likely related to her view of humans and Pokémon being far more alike than different. She seems to have an odd habit of not carrying any of her own Pokémon with her, solving problems she faces using her own strengths and skills. Considering she teaches HM moves to the player and Callie themselves rather than to their Pokémon, these strengths and skills are likely far deeper than her simple appearance lets on.
The governor of Fierte.
An old man who doesn't seem to get along particularly well with Solaire. Claims he wants to examine the Central Sanctuary to disprove and dispel rumors of the Pokémon League being involved in shady activity, but has been repeatedly turned down.
The owner and head chef of Max's Diner, and Gym Leader of Mariville Town, specializing in training Grass-type Pokémon.
A rough and tough ex-convict who turned his life around and opened a diner once he finished his sentence, having discovered a love of cooking in prison. Despite his appearance... and mannerisms... and speech, and... pretty much everything surface-level about him, he's actually a fairly kind-hearted man. As many places won't hire ex-convicts due to their criminal records, he exclusively hires other ex-convicts like himself, giving them an opportunity to make a living so they can turn their own lives around and put down roots without needing to fall back on their old ways to get by.
The warden of Nightwell Penitentiary, and Gym Leader of Nightwell City, specializing in training Fairy-type Pokémon.
A young woman who was seemingly given her position through family connections, but quickly proved her competence. Has a bit of a complex about being mistaken for a child despite being an adult in her 20s due to her stature. She's highly perceptive, made well aware by the disparity between her own stature and competence just how much appearances can be deceiving, an awareness which has served her well as both warden and Gym Leader. Shares a house just outside the prison with Mika, a (yet-unseen) teacher at Nightwell Elementary.
The heir to a wealthy Gaelan family, a skilled gymnast, and Gym Leader of Reselda City, specializing in training Electric-type Pokémon.
A cheerful, excitable tomboy who's always eager to push herself to new heights and prove- mostly to herself- what she's capable of. Has a hard time sitting still, spending most of her time training in her gym, battling in Central City's tournaments, and zipping down the Cycling Roads at high speeds. Tries to distance herself from her family's wealth and status, preferring her accomplishments to be entirely of her own making, so she rarely spends time in her family's manor. Is close friends with Zach, who introduced her to his younger brother, her now-boyfriend Xander.
A cable car operator, hobbyist programmer, volunteer tester for Zach's machines, and Gym Leader of Reselda City, specializing in training Flying-type Pokémon.
A shy and somewhat timid young man who usually prefers being alone with his Pokémon over being around other humans. Of course, his brother Zach and his girlfriend Tessa are exceptions to this, both of whom have joined forces to make sure Xander isn't completely isolated. He finds their efforts a bit annoying at times, but is nonetheless appreciative that they care enough for him to go to such lengths. Once tested a prototype jetpack Zach made, and after quickly mastering it, began using it to get around almost everywhere and incorporating it into how he trains his Pokémon.
The son of Governor Kendrick, and one of the Gym Leaders of Central City, specializing in training Psychic-type Pokémon.
A well-respected young man who apparently doesn't get along particularly well with his father, possibly due to his association with the Pokémon League. Little else is known about him at this time.
The governor of Gaela, and one of the Gym Leaders of Central City, specializing in training Fighting-type Pokémon.
A well-liked old man who may be getting close to retirement. Values understanding what the lives of ordinary people are like, and believes the only way to do so is to live like an ordinary person himself. Married to Valeria, a recently-retired Elite Four member.
A skilled engineer, and a member of the Pokémon League's Elite Four.
A cheerful, friendly man who's easy to get along with and generally tries to keep things casual. Created both his younger brother Xander's jetpack and the low gravity field generator in his close friend Tessa's gym, and installed a voice module in the Central Sanctuary Guardian Dronurk.
A member of the International Police currently assigned to investigate the Solarite Order.
A stern and highly perceptive woman with no tolerance for deception. Little else is known about her at this time.
The captain of the S.S. Cinaeco, and a skilled trainer of Water-type Pokémon.
A salty sea dog who loves the sea and the ship he sails it on. Speaks with a somewhat pirate-y accent, though none of his crew share even the faintest trace of it. Nothing is known of his history at present, though between the Triple Challenge he and his crew hold on the S.S. Cinaeco bearing a striking resemblance to a Gym's challenge and his ship ferrying Gym Challengers free of charge, he likely has quite strong ties to the Pokémon League
It's me! Hello! I made this!
Think you can beat me? I welcome the challenge, but I won't be holding back!
