Our ministries are looking for people who have been called to serve, so click here to see how you can! Find out more about them and where the Holy Spirit is leading you to serve.

Let’s go through the open door and invite a friend (or two!) to the Conference. Look out for the Conference Posters that have been displayed around the church. They feature amazingly creative artwork done by the various ministries based on the theme of Unity which embodies the spirit of the Conference!

Silver Boxes

1. We thank God for more children who are returning to Silver Boxes onsite. We pray for more leaders to come alongside to mentor these children.

2. Pray for our upcoming Children's Conference from 16 June to 19 June. May the Lord bless and encourage the children to rise up to be a robust generation who will shine for Jesus.

Sonshine Kids

1. Praise God for bringing more children to join Sonshine Kids. The children are bringing more children to join us and we pray for each one to grow in wisdom, in stature and in favour with God and Man.

2. Pray for our upcoming outing, at Sentosa, on 2 July. We pray for good weather and good bonding time, and safety for the children and leaders.

1. Let us pray for the Church Conference, that it will be a time of learning and encountering God. We hunger for His Word to feed us, His Spirit to anoint us, and His grace to empower us to obey and be transformed to be His faithful disciples.

2. Let us pray for the participants and facilitators of the Alpha and Disciple Courses, that they will find their time of learning, growing and interacting with one another to be fruitful and meaningful. We pray for God to move mightily and work wonders in their lives and situations.

3. Let us pray for the whole Church, that we will continue to make intentional effort to spend and enjoy time with God, with our family and friends, and to serve Him/others from the posture of rest.

1. Pray for God’s greater presence ; not just on Sundays but also in every cell meeting and gathering.

2. Pray for the leadership team. May each of them keep growing in wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Grant them the grace and perseverance to be fully committed in all they do for God and through God.

1. Pray for our young adults organising the Church Conference. May the Lord honour the time and energy put in by our young adults to make the Conference possible.

2. Pray for safety and protection of those YAs who are serving or about to be enlisted for their National Service.

3. Pray for our young adults couples preparing for their wedding day. Bless their marriages as they begin a new chapter as husbands and wives.

Communications Executive (Social Media)

Job Overview

As part of the church Communications team, the Communications Executive is responsible for the effective communication of the church vision and mission, and the publicity and promotion of its events and activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage social media for PLMC

• Manage PLMC website

• Assist in publicity and promotion of church events and in archiving of church records

• Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor-in-Charge

Requirements

• • Diploma or degree in digital media, mass communication, multimedia or related disciplines

  • Minimum two years experience in corporate communications or marketing with hands-on social media management portfolioo

  • Enjoy working on creative projects

  • Meticulous in attention to detail and a good track record in multi-tasking

  • Good command of spoken and written English essential. Strong command of Mandarin will be an advantage

  • Strong computer skills: in particular, a sound knowledge of Desktop Publishing tools and design software like Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, WordPress etc

  • Basic photography skills and knowledge of photographic equipment is an advantage

  • Must be able to work on Sundays

Vacancy for the position of HR and Accounts Executive/Assistant at Pentecost Methodist Church

With immediate effect, the Mandarin, Youth, Filipino and Peranakan Services do not require Safe Entry Check-Ins. However, VDS applies to the English Services as the capacity of the Sanctuary exceeds 500, and so Safe Entry Check-Ins are required, so please bring along your TraceTogether app or token.

• With effect from Sat 19 Mar 2022, worshippers to our Onsite Services need not make reservations. Capacity limits have been increased and zoning lifted, so we encourage you to join us. However, as there are still capacity limits, entry will be on a first-come-first-served basis and there will be no entry once the worship venues are full, so worshippers are advised to come early.

• Reservations for Silver Boxes still applies, and our online services will continue.

• Mask wearing still continue. All worshippers must be fully vaccinated or show proof of exemption.

• Worshippers to the 9am English Service are strongly urged to leave the church premises and car park as soon as they are dismissed to make way for worshippers attending the 11.15am English and Mandarin Services.

The church office will be open on the following days and times except for public holidays:

• Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri – 10.00am to 4.00pm

• Sat – 9.00am to 1.00pm

• Wed, Sun & Public Holidays - closed

With immediate effect, the church general line has also reverted to 6285 1234 during operation hours.
