1.1 Pray that the TESOL programme will be made available to other believers to do training to expand its reach. Pray that God will select His chosen to do this.
1.2 Pray for BL wisdom to manage serving their 2 widowed mothers who are living alone.

1. Fellowship of Evangelical Students, Singapore: Siah May Lan
1.1 Pray for God's continued healing on May Lan’s mother’s knee and her stomach cancer. Pray for her appetite to improve and her condition to be stabilised so there is an opportunity to go on a short trip in November.
1.2 Pray for May Lan to receive God's guidance and wisdom in choosing a counselling course for full time studies and her sabbatical plans to be confirmed and approved for 2023. Also pray for an opportunity to go for an overseas retreat course in December 2022.
1.3 Pray for God's wisdom to build and sustain the small group of art students and raising new leaders in NAFA/Lasalle CF group; for concrete strategies and monetary resources in ministry outreach and forming a Christian fellowship in ITE East and West campus. Pray as May Lan prepares a proposal for the ministry work in ITE, too.
2. Wycliffe Singapore: Grace Tan
2.1 Pray for Grace who is writing her MA Thesis that is due on 30 September, that she will do a good job on it and hand it in on time.
2.2 Pray for Grace’s sister who is still ill. Continue to pray that she will grow stronger and flourish as she follows the Lord’s leading.
3. YWAM Singapore: Beatrice Wee
3.1 Pray for Beatrice that she will be refreshed and rejuvenated during this season of her sabbatical and also in her discernment on the Lord’s leading in her ministry.
3.2 Pray for breakthrough and also for Beatrice to experience God’s grace, mercy and strength to carry her through the challenges that she is currently facing.
4. YWAM Singapore: Nicole Lim
4.1 Pray for Nicole to receive God’s wisdom and strength as she juggles through various aspects – spiritually, technically, emotionally and relationships - as she seeks God to send compatible team member(s) to pioneer or venture into the field in future.
4.2 Pray for godly counsel and wisdom as YWAM leadership navigate through fund raising efforts so that they have other possible platforms for Nicole’s next renewal of pass.

1.1 Pray for TK and the campus teams to be filled with the Holy Spirit like Stephen in the Book of Acts so that they can spread the gospel with confidence.
1.2 Pray for God’s provision to meet the financial needs of TK’s family.
2. South Asia : GEMS
2.1 Pray for the GEMS staff and pastors to continue to stand firm in faith and to serve the Lord faithfully amid persecution and the current pandemic situation.
2.2 Pray for India as the country is badly affected by the pandemic - many people are without jobs and the poor are suffering without basic necessities.
2.3 Pray for the Bible School students that they will continue to learn and be agents of transformation wherever the Lord leads them.
3. East Asia: Songs
3.1 Pray for our mission partners, Joseph and Susan, that they will continue to have good health and the joy in ministry.
3.2 Pray for TAN-NW workers who face serious political and religious restrictions in their ministry.

Ministry Executive, Family Life Ministry
Job Overview
Reporting to their immediate supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for designing and executing the church Family Life Ministry programmes in PLMC.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Pastoral team, the FLM Committee and relevant ministries (such as Youth Ministry and Glowing Years Ministry) to strengthen family and marriage relationships, equip parents/grandparents to raise godly children/grandchildren, and champion biblical singlehood and dating in PLMC
Plan for leadership continuity with his/her immediate supervisor
Recruit and deploy volunteers to plan and execute FLM strategies and programmes
Plan, coordinate and lead ministry programmes in partnership with the volunteers
Assist and support all FLM related initiatives/programmes, including being the liaison person between the church office and the volunteers
Stay abreast of the latest developments in the family life ministry scene e.g. new programmes, resources
Provide pastoral care and guidance to FLM leaders
Assist in the review and preparation of an annual budget to support the various FLM programmes
Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor-In-Charge
Requirements
Theological degree or relevant experience
A genuine interest in family life matters and people, and a strong passion for working towards strengthening families, marriages, singles, and parents
Proven leadership with strong verbal and written skills
Proficiency in events organisation and management

SANCTUARY LEVEL 1 TOILET RENOVATIONS
Renovation works on the Level 1 Sanctuary Toilets will begin on Mon 15 Aug and are expected to be completed by the middle of November. Worshippers may use the Sanctuary toilets on levels 2, 3 and 4 or those on levels 2, 3 and 4 of the Covenant Centre. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
EASING OF SAFE MANAGEMENT MEASURES
The Mandarin, Youth, Filipino and Peranakan Services do not require Safe Entry Check-Ins. However, VDS applies to the English Services as the capacity of the Sanctuary exceeds 500, and Safe Entry Check-Ins are required, so please bring along your TraceTogether app or token. All worshippers to the must be fully vaccinated or show proof of exemption.
Mask wearing is now optional, but we encourage you to wear a mask if you are feeling vulnerable.
Worshippers to the 9am English Service are strongly urged to leave the church premises and car park as soon as they are dismissed to make way for worshippers attending the 11.15am English and Mandarin Services.
The Church Office, including Reception, will be closed for renovation from 26 Sep for a scheduled 2-month period.
