HAVE A MEAL ON PLMC

Continuing with our 90th Anniversary celebration, Have a Meal on PLMCaims to bless the hawkers in our community. Located at various coffee shops in Serangoon, Kovan and Hougang, 90 food stalls have partnered with us to each provide 90 meals to the community.

As a family blessed to bless the community and the nations, vouchers will be distributed to our beneficiaries and also to our PLMC worshippers to bless the less fortunate and their friends as they redeem a meal from the participating hawker stalls. Have a Meal on PLMCwill commence in August and redemption will end on 31 December.

Now that you have prayed about who God is leading you to bless with a meal, please collect the vouchers at the Contact Point this Sunday, 21 Aug after the services. Scan the QR code to find out more.

RISEN MUMS SEASON 4

MOTHERHOOD IS HARD. To the mothers with young children, do you feel a sense of heaviness, and a need for your motherhood burdens to be lifted? A need for less to be on your plate, less on your mind, less on your heart?

The WSCS presents Risen Moms ministry, a community of mothers to provide support based on biblical truth, no matter how you feel about motherhood. It is for the imperfect mother, still learning, still growing, and still recognising she does not have it all together, but we serve a God who does.

Join Season Four of Risen Moms, as we come together to encourage, equip and challenge moms to apply the biblical truths to their everyday lives.

- Every Thursday 8:15PM to 9:15pm (15, 22, 29 SEP, 6, 13, 20, 27 OCT 2022)

- Venue: Zoom (link will be sent to participants prior to the commencement of the Season)

- Cost: $18 for the book ‘When God Shapes A Wife by Jenni Huan’, if you do not already have a copy

BUDGET LETTER & E-PLEDGE CARD 2022

We are observing Pledge Sunday on 7 Aug 2022. As we look to the new financial year as a church, we ask you to prayerfully consider your pledges for the new year. Each of our circumstances are unique, and we only ask that you respond in faith as the Lord leads. Please read the Budget Letter and submit the e-Pledge Card as an important aspect of our Worship to the Lord.

THE CHRISTIAN CALENDAR - PENTECOST

Pentecost celebrates the giving of the Holy Spirit as the Paraclete / Advocate and the birth of the Church. Coming 50 days after Easter, the season’s liturgical colour is red, symbolizing the Holy Spirit’s fire and the blood of the martyrs. Pentecost focuses on the gift and the work of the Holy Spirit, and the themes include God’s community (the Church), the gifts and fruits of the Spirit, and spreading the Gospel.
