Let us pray to the Lord for:
1) People in Tonga hit by effects of volcano eruption
Emergency relief aid like medication, food, water and shelter will be available for those badly affected, and for as long as needed.
Covid-19 restrictions will not hamper emergency help from abroad.
Foreign funds pouring in to help victims of this disaster will not be siphoned away by local corruption.
Christians to exhibit community love to one another during this time of testing.
2) Persecuted Christians in the world
God will encourage and uphold the faith of these persecuted fellow Christians, and to comfort them in their pain and suffering.
God to vindicate the faith of these believers through His signs and wonders, and miracles in answered prayers.
God to protect and provide for their daily needs.
Persecuted Christians will not hate but love their enemies, and be a shining testimony for Jesus; a light in darkness.
Pray that such antagonistic pre-believers and persecutors will be won over for Jesus through God’s power and love.
3) Covid-19 concerns in Singapore
Number of severe Covid-19 cases to remain low, and within the capacity of our healthcare facilities and workers.
Majority cases to be mild ones, making situation to be a more manageable endemic.
Year 2022 to be a year of recovery towards new normal in a post-Covid world.
4) Rising scams in Singapore
Scammers will be caught and brought to justice.
Authorities will help protect and educate Singaporeans on scams.
Scam-weary Singaporeans especially elderly folks will not be afraid or deterred from modernising to digital platforms.
5) PLMC Prayer Concerns
PLMC as a House of Prayer
Pray for more of our church members to be convicted by Holy Spirit to have a lifestyle of prayer and intercession.
God to raise up more intercessors for His kingdom work and harvest fields.
Families with Covid-19
A few our members and families recently had been tested positive for Covid-19.
Pray for quick recovery, loving support and practical helps.
God’s love and patience to bond the families during such challenging times.
PLMC Land Lease Renewal
Pray for favourable considerations by various governmental authorities (esp. Ministry of Law and SLA) on our proposal of additional 30 years extension to the usual standard lease renewal. Usual land lease renewal is just 30 years, and not 30+30 years.
We’re hoping for the final decision or answer soonest possible, at least by this year. Pray by faith that this will be so.
90th Anniversary: Blood Donation Drive
Thank God for the people who came forward to donate blood on Sunday of 6 Feb.

Care Hub is formed to support and journey alongside our members / worshippers whose lives and livelihoods have been affected by this crisis. The end goal of Care Hub is pastoral care, for someone to journey with them and remind them they are beloved of God and to find strength in God to face the challenges.
As each individual has different needs, Care Hub serves as a one-stop helpline where an individual can obtain support in the church in various areas. If you have been affected by this crisis, Care Hub is here to support you.
English version : CAREHUB.PLMC.ORG
Chinese version : MSCAREHUB.PLMC.ORG
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need to be a worshipper at PLMC to obtain help for Care Hub?
As long as you have been worshipping with us, either on-site or online, you are welcome to obtain help from Care Hub. We seek to journey with you as a family of faith during, and beyond, the COVID-19 period.
2. Is it compulsory for a Care Befriender to journey with me?
Yes, it is. We are not designed to journey alone. The church is the Body of Christ and each of us is a part of the body. Having a Care Befriender in this journey is to experience the community and interdependence of our Triune God. God is never alone; we need others too.
3. How long will the Care Befriender journey with me?
Each person has a different journey. Each journey is unique. In general, the Care Befriender will journey with you 3 – 6 months. Let these be a meaningful journey of deepening in God through the company of another.
4. Can I request for pastor to be my spiritual mentor/counsellor?
Yes, you can make the request, but we are all called to be a priesthood of believers hence most likely a mature believer will be assigned to journey with you. Trust that it is God’s hand that has led you thus far, and He will ensure that you are mentored or counselled by the right person with the necessary spiritual gifts for you.
5. I am not affected by COVID-19 but I need someone to talk to. Do I send my request through Care Hub?
No, Care Hub specifically caters to those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its ramifications. Please contact the relevant ministry that caters to your need directly. Contact details can be found at the end of this site, under ‘Our Ministries’.
