MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMS

The Master's degree programs follow an andragogy framework (refers to the methods and approaches used in adult education) that allows students a highly substantial degree of independence to: explore self-actualization; experience lifelong learning through active involvement of individual work and/or in teams of inter and multidisciplinary experts; and engage in research-based problem-solving techniques to have a better understanding and appreciation of the advanced knowledge and skills required to promote positive interventions needed by various organizations and communities.

Ang programa ng Pantas ng Sining sa Filipinolohiya ay naglalayong mapataas ang kalidad ng pagtuturo at mga kabatiran ng mga guro sa ilalim ng programang K-12 ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon, mga nagututuro at nagnanais na magturo sa kolehiyo, at mga nag memedyor sa Filipino, at gayundin ang mga na sa midyang larang.

The Master's in Business Administration (MBA) program, thesis and non-thesis tracks, prepares professionals to facilitate strategic change in different types of organizations. It emphasizes the practical application of management theory in organizations grappling with successful adaptation to globalization, rapid technological obsolescence, and increased competition.

The Master's in Public Administration (MPA) program is designed to substantially upgrade and enhance the administrative and professional competence of leaders and practitioners in public service organizations by exposing them to advanced theories and concepts in policymaking, program and process development, leadership, and change management.

The Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) program is aimed at developing and training school leaders and managers as well as teachers and mentors of educational organizations towards the possession of advanced knowledge and skills that respond to global demands in the field of educational leadership and management.

DOCTORAL DEGREE PROGRAMS

The doctoral degree programs follow an andragogy framework (refers to the methods and approaches used in adult education) that allows students the opportunity to independently demonstrate highly advanced systematic knowledge and skills in specialized multi and interdisciplinary fields of learning. The programs train students to be innovative leaders who significantly contribute to their respective fields of study by creating new knowledge and/or novel professional practice in various complex inter and multidisciplinary settings.

The Doctor of Business Management (DBM) program aims to advance the professional development of experienced and seasoned business administration graduates and professionals through research-based endeavors and by using innovative processes that facilitate business management skills that empower them to make key leadership decisions and contribute to their chosen fields. The program offers opportunities for the students to do research in key areas in information technology, management, finance, marketing, human resource management, operations, and organizational leadership.

The Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) program is designed to develop the substantive skills, knowledge, and values to become an executive-level leader in the government, public sector, or non-profit arena. This is a terminal applied-research doctoral degree in the field of public administration that requires significant coursework beyond the Master's level and a dissertation that contributes to theory and/or practice and the goals of national development.

The Doctor of Education (Ed.D), major in Educational Leadership and Management program is designed to develop and train academicians and leaders in educational and training institutions on the advanced knowledge and skills that are required by the dynamic developments in learning and teaching across developmental stages. It also allows opportunities for students to critically discern the role of organizational leadership in various education platforms and how this affects the future generation of learners and workers in the field of the academe.
