CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

The post-baccalaureate certificate programs allow students the opportunity to explore other disciplines to advance their passion, career, or profession or to prepare for graduate/professional school.

Commonly known as Certificate in [Professional] Teaching (CPT), the PECP is a post-baccalaureate certificate program designed for non-education bachelor’s degree holders who wish to pursue a professional teaching career at the elementary and/or secondary level. Some students may also use this program to earn credit units required by several graduate schools before being admitted to a Master's degree in Education program. Courses in the program adhere to the latest guidelines set by Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) Memorandum Order Nos. 74 and 75, s. 2017 and comply with the requirements listed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to qualify for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
