Have you ever thought to yourself... what if parallel universes exist? What if there was another version of yourself out there... living a different life? A world... that was so vastly different that what you know of, you grew up to become a completely different person?
Today, we learn of the crossover between two universes as well as the discovery of another version of ourselves. The moment in history that changed two parallel universes forever.
They're invading... The Darkness is coming...
Explained in more depth on the lore page, Magicians in the Paldea Kingdom have accidently created the most deadly form of Dark Magic , the Darkness. After losing many of their Warriors in an effort to fight against it, they turned tail once they realized that their powers were being constantly drained! Paldea, unfortunately, lost most of it's Warrior's and people to the Darkness, so it was up to Kalos and Galar to figure something out...

Welcome to the reboot of Pokémon Fantasy University! In this group, you will be taking control of an Anthro Pokémon character that resides either in the Modern University or Fantasy universe. To get you settled into this new universe, here are some prompts you may partake in depending on the type of character you create!
Prompt 1: Linked Pair Program

It all starts here! Show us the origin story of where your two characters learn about the Mana Tablet and become linked with one another! How do they react to swapping with each other for the first time? Perhaps show us the events leading up to their first swap!
Unlike previously, your linked pair has separate points, so you may do this prompt twice!
Prompt 2: Explorers Program
Prompt 2: Explorers Program
Brand new to the world of Fantasy University is Kalos' explorer program! Using their new VR technology, you can wear a headset that takes you straight into the other universe with a cyborg body that has hologram capabilities! For University students, they are made to believe that it is a video game and can set their appearance to be however they want it to look. How do they react for the first time upon seeing this very realistic looking world?
As for Fantasy characters, they can wear them as well and go to University! Their main purpose is to blend in as a fake student and get others to try out the VR headset. Show them reacting to living in this modern world for the first time!

Replacing Villains is 'The Lost'. These are characters that have been overtaken by the Darkness and have accepted the Dark Magic into their bodies. Show us their origin as to how they were met with the decision to either accept the magic or die. Do they enjoy having this new power? Do they hate it?
Prompt 4: University Student
Prompt 4: University Student
It's the new year and it's time to head back to school! For those who aren't a part of our parallel universe hopping story and want to have a more grounded one instead, showcase your character arriving back at University and either reuniting with their friends or making new ones!
Be wary, however... a lot of the shenanigans from the Fantasy World may leak over into the University side! You may end up encountering a few strange individuals along your way...
University Students that are apart of the Linked Pair Program may do this prompt as well.
Prompt 5: Fantasy Hero

Last, but not least... the regular Fantasy Hero! This is for people who want to go out on adventures without getting involved on the University Side! The Darkness may be rampant and there isn't much you can do about it, but at the very least... there's still evil people in the world that need to be taken care of! Come up with a PMD Styled adventure for your character to go on and do the world a service!
Fantasy Characters that are apart of the Linked Pair Program may do this prompt as well.

YOU MUST GRADE YOUR OWN ART! Please use a copy of this calculator to determine how many points your piece will get! Then, head on over to the database editor and add it to your character's page! If you have trouble with any of these steps, please let the mod team know!
Artwork must at least be colored and half body.
- Backgrounds are not required! (But will earn you more points!)
- Written Entries are allowed for anyone!
- 1500 words required individually 2500 words required if collabing with partner (or you're using two of your own characters) (+1000 words for every additional character of yours you also include in it).
- You cannot do both a Written Entry and a Art submission for the same prompt (unless otherwise stated)
- RP Logs are okay! They must be at least 2000 words.
- Please ask for permission to use another person's character in your art if you aren't sure they're okay with it!
- Collabs are allowed! Both members will get the same amount of points for a collab. This only applies to a maximum of 3 people and must be done in the traditional sketch/line/color type of collab! Mass "Insert your character" collabs will not count for this.
