December 2024: commissioning of a traditional well in Bélanura, a very isolated area south of the mouth of the Maharivo River (Cost 2300 €). Launch of a "one well per quarter" program in the landlocked hamlets of Bélo sur mer with the support of the "Pecheurs de perles" endowment fund. Launch of the work on the next well in Andika, a village located just north of the mouth of the Maharivo River.

November 2024: arrival of drinking water in Ankevo /Mer. A network of 15 standpipes is fed by a 3km pipe connected to the Ankevo water tower /earth itself powered by a solar pump in the "Japanese" well. The first mission of the year to Ankevo is scheduled to start on 18 March. There will certainly be a second mission at the end of the year.
January 2024: A Water Tower in Ankevo (5mn film by Mr. Lohisse): the finalization of phase 1 of the drinking water supply project. A technical summary document on this construction will be distributed shortly.
1st January, gale on the Ménabé. Part of the roof of the school is blown off, quickly repaired by the village for the start of the school year. However, we need to think about how to make schools safer. Consult this film of the Red Cross and these documents construction advice by P. Deguette.
