9am: Present: Hone, Malachi and Alilia. We talked about the NCEA Number internal and the plan for the week. We then explored equivalent fractions using the Transum Fraction Wall and started the Transum Level 1 Equivalent Fraction task.
11:30am: Adding fractions on Transum and creating blog posts about our learning. Hone & Isosefo.
1pm: Room 1 looked at the first problem in the DMIC Maths is our culture and community in their class time. Foli and Pita came for a few seconds. (I do not think anyone else actually turned up).
9am: Checking everyone had access to EP and they knew how to use it. We actually did a spelling test (which takes a few minutes and can be done 20 times, with different content each time). The questions that were marked incorrect were used to automatically set new learning tasks for students. I think we might be learning online the whole term, so it is vital that students are making the most of EP in multiple subject areas. Ngahuia; Richard; Hone; Malachi; Amaia and Jeremiah attended this session.
11:30am: First we looked at the PHET Fraction Matcher then continued with fractions on Transum (fractions of an amount). Hone; Ngahuia; Renei; Amaia and Aleki attended this session.
1pm: Plan: Ngahuia will do a kahoot then we might can play DASH in EP. Actual: Amaia, Hone and Alilia attended and we checked out EP Dash for Order of Operations and for Numeracy Stage 2,3 and 4.

Amaia, Ngahuia, Iosefo, Hone, Aleki, Poni, Sebastian, Sunipa and Fabian. We talked about 50% being the same as one half, 10% being the same as one tenth, so you just divide by 10. We discussed the fact that 33&1/3 % is the same as one third.
1pm: Mathigon Multiplication by Heart followed by Building Fractions on PHET. Amaia, Hone, Alilia and Ngahuia.
