The Pio Pico District Eagle Board of Review Chair will typically send an e-mail or contact you 10-14 days prior to a potential Eagle Board of Review date. A deadline for confirming your attendance will be provided so we can confirm the schedule for the evening as many Scouts typically are waiting for their reviews.
Confirm that the date and time will be acceptable to you, your family and your Scoutmaster.
Once the Eagle Board of Review is completed, the Eagle Board Chair will remove the following items from your Eagle Binder to be delivered to the Pio Pico District Advancement Chair:
Your Eagle Board signed Eagle Application
Your LIfe Ambition Statement
Your Declaration of Religious Beliefs (If applicable)
Your Advancement Summary Report (the one with all of your award dates)
The Pio Pico District Binder Checklist
The Pio Pico District Advacnement Chair will deliver the Eagle Binder components to the Greater Los Angeles Area Council (GLAAC) Registrar
The GLAAC Registrar after verification will forward the Eagle Binder components to the Boy Scouts of America National Headquarters
Typically, Boy Scout National Headquarters takes 4-6 weeks to complete their final review. Once completed they send back to Concil your Eagle Packet. Council then returns the Eagle Packet to the District. The District then returns the Eagle Packet to your Scoutmaster. Your Scoutmaster then presents you with your Eagle Packet.
You will need the Eagle Certificate or the Eagle ID Card contained within your Eagle Packet to purchase your Eagle Rank medal and patch. Do not plan your Eagle Court of Honor until you receive your Eagle Packet.
