The purpose of the PIH Engage Core Team is to develop strategies, narrative, resources, and tactics to support the Network Leadership Team in growing introspectively and fostering honest community building and actions for other coaches in the PIHE network to advocate for restorative justice, recognizing the responsibility of the US to help fund global health infrastructure.
The purpose of the PIH Engage Network Leadership Team is to facilitate the development of a network of leaders and teams that will help advance the right to health through their roles as students, professionals, and organizers, culminating in the mitigation of global health inequities. We aim to accomplish this by coaching leads through effective organizing strategy and potential challenges, committing to the highest level of mutual accountability and consistent communication, and fostering meaningful relationships that promote growth and sustain impactful change.

Abbie’s journey with Engage started back in 2021 at The Ohio State University, where she was the Community Building and Education Lead. She graduated in the spring of 2023 with degrees in Neuroscience and Medical Anthropology. Following graduation, Abbie joined the Network Leadership Team as a coach and as a member of the DEI Working Group. She soon after joined the Cleveland City Team also! Over the years, Abbie has loved connecting with Engagers throughout the network, and continuing to learn and grow as a leader in the continued fight for healthcare as a human right. She is so excited to continue as a team member, a coach, and being a member of Core Team! Outside of Engage, Abbie works in healthcare consulting and is based in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a plant mom who loves trivia, yoga, Disney, crocheting, and musical theater! This year, Abbie is coaching the George Washington University team, the Oakwood High School team, the Ohio State University team, and the Washington, D.C. team.

Advocacy Specialist, Economic Justice
Chloe has been organizing with PIH Engage since starting in 2019 at the University of Washington team, where she served as advocacy lead and team coordinator. She's now based in Boston, leading our economic justice advocacy campaigns at PIH. Chloe is excited to begin her second year as a coach and member of the Boston City team! Her favorite thing about PIH Engage is working side-by-side with this incredible community to learn more about health equity and pursue a more just world. In her free time, she loves to explore nature, find cute animals to pet, and hunt for four-leaf clovers. This year, Chloe is coaching teams at Northeastern University and the University of Washington.

Grace graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in Global Health Studies and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Philanthropy, as well as Public Health. She’s now pursuing her Master of Public Health at Boston University, where she’s completed her first year. During undergrad, Grace founded the Partners In Health Engage team at Iowa and served as Team Coordinator for two years; she’s now spent the past year coaching new Engage teams. She currently works at Boston Medical Center with the Center for Health Equity, Education, & Research (CHEER), supporting initiatives focused on maternal-child health. In her free time, Grace enjoys watching sports—especially the WNBA and the Green Bay Packers—and taking care of her plants! This year, Grace is coaching teams at Creighton University, the University of Virginia Graduate School, and Vanderbilt University.

Hainvi has been involved with PIH Engage since 2022, when she joined the Partners in Health Engage chapter at Case Western Reserve University. Over the past few years with PIHE at CWRU, she served as the Community Building & Social Media Chair, Fundraising Chair, and later as a Co-Team Coordinator for the chapter. She has had the privilege of fostering community engagement through collaborations with various Cleveland organizations, advocating for more accessible healthcare, and fundraising to stand in solidarity with the global communities we serve. She is currently finishing her final year at CWRU before starting medical school next year. Hainvi is excited to be part of the Network Leadership Team and to work with fellow Engagers to champion the right to health movement! This year, Hainvi is coaching teams at the University of Miami, the University of Michigan, and Upper St. Clair High School.

Rachel started her involvement with PIH Engage at the University of Connecticut, where she spent one year as the team’s Advocacy Lead and two years as Team Coordinator. At UConn, Rachel majored in Pathobiology and earned minors in Sociology and Molecular & Cell Biology. Following her graduation in 2024, she joined the Network Leadership Team. Heading into her second year of coaching, she looks forward to continuing to learn and adapt as we fight for global health justice this year! Outside of Engage, Rachel works as a patient care assistant at CT Children’s Medical Center and volunteers as a recreational assistant soccer coach. Jordan has been part of PIHE for six years, first at Case Western Reserve University and for the last three years with the NLT. She lives in Manhattan working in medical humanities and organizing locally against the climate crisis. Outside of PIHE, Jordan loves cooking breakfast with her roommate, her weekly Wednesday night reading routine, Muay Thai, trying fun sewing projects, and drinking hot coffee year round. She’s excited to continue coaching this year and being part of Core Team. Engagers are some of her favorite people anywhere and she can't wait to keep learning from everyone as we fight for a better world (and giggle with each other along the way)! This year, Jordan is coaching the Cleveland City team, the Cornell University team, and the Michigan State University team.

Michael first became involved with Engage in 2021, where he was the Community Building Lead for the Boston College team, and eventually became Team Coordinator for the 2022-2023 campaign year. Michael first became a Coach upon graduating in 2023. He was a Coach and a member of Core Team for the 2024-2025 campaign year. Michael is now entering his third year of coaching, which he could not be more excited for! Outside of Engage, Michael is a first-year dental student in NYC! This year, Michael is coaching teams at Boston College, Purdue University, and Rutgers University.

Hana first became involved with PIH Engage in 2022 as a co-founding advocacy lead and TC of the Brandeis University chapter. A 2025 grad, this is her first year on the NLT! Currently, Hana serves as a medical and human rights research fellow with Physicians for Human Rights, but she has also previously worked on HIV research in Boston and Copenhagen, as well in the US House of Representatives. Originally from Minnesota, Hana is especially passionate about improving rural reproductive health, and enjoys birddogging her local republican lawmakers until they agree to support Medicare/Medicaid/IHS expansion. In her free time, Hana enjoys hiking, reading, drinking tea, and listening to weird jazz fusion music. This year, Hana is coaching teams at the University of Iowa, the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and Yale University.

Prudny is from Bradenton, FL and first became involved with Engage at the University of Florida, where he studied Public Health and Geography and where he eventually became co-TC. Since graduating last year, Prudny has been a coach on the NLT and is excited to continue to push for change and practice solidarity. Outside of Engage he works as GIS Technician, and enjoys trying new recipes and listening to music in his free time. She co-founded the Santa Clara University PIH Engage team in 2019 and served as its Team Coordinator until 2021. She has been a coach on the NLT since 2019 and is also currently serving as Fundraising Lead for the Boston City PIH Engage team. Rosie has been organizing with PIH Engage since 2017 when she joined the Harvard Chapter, and has been a coach since 2020! Rosie is currently living in Washington DC, where she works full-time at PIH on health workforce and global heath advocacy priorities. She’s also studying for a part-time Masters in Public Policy at Georgetown. When not annoying members of Congress, Rosie can be found running, listening to podcasts, and trying to find cute dogs to pet. She loves the PIH Engage community and is thrilled to be a coach again this year! This year, Rosie is coaching the Boston City team and the University of Texas at Austin team.

Samiha joined PIH Engage in Spring 2021 with the University of Southern California team, where she was Advocacy Lead and Team Coordinator, and started coaching with the NLT in 2023. This is her first year as part of the core team, and she’s very excited to contribute to the network in this new way! PIHE has been such important source of empowerment and community for her for several years now, and it’s been incredible for her to see how our organizers evolve and adapt to uncertainty in global health. Samiha’s academic background in health and experiences as a child of Bangladeshi immigrants is what pushes her to continue working towards global health equity. Samiha graduated from USC with a B.S. in Global Health and from Columbia University with a Master of Public Health, worked as an EMT for a little while, and is currently a medical student at Stanford University. In her free time, Samiha is usually reading, weightlifting, or perfecting her Sims 4 dream house. This year, Samiha is coaching the Bainbridge High School team, the King-Snohomish County team, and the Los Angeles City Team.

Sadia joined PIH Engage in 2018, serving as the Team Coordinator and Advocacy Lead for the Harvard team. She has been a coach since 2021 and was also the full-time grassroots advocacy specialist at PIH for two years. Currently, Sadia is an MD-PhD student in medical anthropology at UCSF. She is constantly inspired by the organizing, advocacy, and education efforts of the network, and she is confident that we are slowly but surely bending that moral arc towards a more caring and just society. In her free time, Sadia enjoys listening to music and watching/playing tennis, soccer, and formula 1. This year, Sadia is coaching the New York City team, the Simi Valley City team, and the University of California Berkeley team.

Miriam’s journey with Partners In Health began unexpectedly when she picked up a copy of Mountains Beyond Mountains from a free book library outside a café. Thinking it was a book about hiking, she had no idea it would launch one of the most meaningful adventures of her life. Inspired by Dr. Paul Farmer’s vision, she launched the PIH Engage team at Berry College—and hasn’t looked back since. Now in her final year of nursing school, Miriam is passionate about global health equity and brings that commitment to her work on the PIH National Leadership Team. She is currently producing a documentary titled Infections and Inequalities: How Tuberculosis Exposes Global Health Disparities, which explores the urgent need for more equitable TB treatment around the world. When she’s not editing film footage or leading campus advocacy efforts, you can find Miriam hiking mountain trails, biking across town, or playing games with her husband. Her work reflects her belief that global health advocacy should be creative, community-centered, and deeply rooted in joy. This year, Miriam is coaching the New York City team, the Simi Valley City team, and the University of California Berkeley team.

Logan is from Denver, Colorado and just graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she studied physiology and public health. Logan co-founded the CU PIH Engage chapter in 2023 and served as Team Coordinator until 2025. This is her first year as a coach, and she’s excited to join the NLT! In her free time, Logan loves to ski, read, spend time with her friends, and fight for global health equity! Zoe Du is from Houston, Texas, and recently graduated from UT Dallas with a BS in biology and a minor in statistics. Her journey with Engage began five years ago at Bellaire High School which inspired her to start a team at UT Dallas. Zoe is excited to enter her second year with the NLT and work with Engagers across the network to advance the right to health! When she’s not busy with Engage, Zoe can be found hanging out with her cats, working on medical school applications, and baking. While she currently lives in Fort Walton Beach, her involvement with Engage began when she was a student at the University of South Florida majoring in biomedical sciences and psychology. After serving as the USF team’s Advocacy Lead and Team Coordinator for two years, she joined the NLT following my graduation. Outside of volunteering with Engage, she works as a rehabilitation tech at the HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital and enjoys reading in her spare time. Queeny's journey with PIH Engage began nearly five years ago when she started a team at the University of Florida, where she earned a BS in Health Sciences with a minor in Health Disparities in Society. After leading a PIH Engage team for two years, she transitioned into coaching other teams as part of the Engage Network Leadership Team. Shortly after, she joined PIH as a staff member for Engage and used her time to organize our fundraising campaign and onboard new teams. This year, Queeny is coaching the Arizona State University team, the Rush University team, the San Antonio team, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign team.

Hannah Siegler is originally from Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Biology with minors in Bioengineering and Chemistry. At UO, she was the team coordinator for two years. She is pursuing her MPH in epidemiology at the University of Minnesota, while finishing up working for a lab on protein engineering.
