Both PEPFAR and the Global Fund are facing unprecedented threats to cut funding, reduce programming, and roll back decades worth of critical, lifesaving work across the globe. As of the end of September 2025, billions of dollars worth of spending, appropriated by Congress for Global Health Programming has been withheld. It will take targeted, constant constituent pressure to get those funds out the door, and to ensure future funds are allocated to both PEPFAR and the Global Fund.
