Dropping off Deliveries
This is the absolute most important part of the entire delivery process. It's MAKE or BREAK! Your attention to detail during this process will yield big dividends if any lost package claims are made. Your ability to politely interact with a customer can be the difference between a complaint or a bonus.

Upon arrival to the drop destination, it's recommended to take 2 photos. The first photo can be taken by clicking the Dropoff Photo box. Quickly place the package on top of your vehicle with your Pigeon Flag, the drop location, and the actual order displayed in the photo. Next, place the order where the order will be left for the customer and take this photo with your camera, saving to your phone library for later.

[If, for some reason, you are unable to take a photo with the mobile app, ALWAYS take a photo on your device and save it to your device. Send the photo immediately to support@pigeonship.com and include your name and Order ID. Keep the photo for at least 30 days in the event of a dispute]

Click DROPOFF SCAN and scan barcode upon delivery the package.

If a signature is not required, the box will already show as complete and/or non-responsive. If it is required, you will be able to capture a signature.

To capture signature, click SIGNATURE and proceed to capture recipients signature. It helps to turn your mobile device horizontal to better accommodate the recipient. Because names are not always legible, always ask for the customers name and note the name for later reference.

If age verification is required you'll notice a red box highlighted saying "Age Verification Required." Click the red box. Check the recipient's driver's license and input the birthdate of the recipient.

Upon completing all required boxes, click MARK DELIVERED and the button will turn grey signifying it's complete.

This photo is bad. The pickup photo is fine, but even though the driver provided 2 drop off photos, they don't show anything but a dark background.
