You can access available deliveries by responding to mobile app notifications or by searching available deliveries on your mobile app dashboard, and clicking on Available Deliveries. Additionally you can click on any delivery route to gather more basic information.
Often you may be assigned to work with one of our operational staff directly, and he or she may assign deliveries to your account automatically, which in this case you can ignore the available delivery notifications and proceed directly to the My Delivery tab.
Notifications
Available delivery notifications will notify you of deliveries if you have the PigeonShip mobile app downloaded to your device. The notification does not tell you everything about the delivery, but often enough to help you decide if you'd like to further investigate.
For example, the delivery below shows Box Truck required. You would likely ignore this delivery if you didn't have a box truck.
Types of Deliveries:
There are 2 main categories of deliveries: single deliveries that vary in size, and high-volume e-commerce deliveries that tend to be the size of a shoe box.
The initial notification shows that a box truck is required, $100 in earnings will be paid, the pickup city/state and drop off city/state, followed by delivery date and time.
Most deliveries don't require a truck or box truck. Notifications display the following sizes:
Tiny - Small - Medium - Large - XLarge - Truck - Other.
This screen shows only 1 item will be delivered for $100. If this delivery had 3 items being delivered, it would show: (3@$100.00).
As a rule of thumb, you can refer to the Size Chart when determining if something will or will not fit in your vehicle.
Click the delivery to access the delivery acceptance page.
Press the Accept This Delivery if you would like to be assigned to this delivery. HINT- Click the red pin to view the pickup address, and the green pen to view the drop off address.
Agree to terms and accept. This is the moment of truth.
Next, proceed to the Gather More Info training page.
