This painting was created for a competition that asked participants to bring something into the future to make it better (VISION OF BETTER FUTURE), whether it was a change or something that already exists. This is my interpretation, so I wanted to represent the neuronal cell drawing from a book, because conscious knowledge, for me, is the focal point of existence. In the cell, I wanted to highlight the myelin sheath, which protects the neuronal cells. Within the cell, I also wanted to include the world, women, nature, and the new generations as elements to be protected in the future and as the basis for there to be a future.

I painted this artwork to remind me that I don't always need others to bring out the best in me. I have enough light to shine on my own and to help others shine too. Just like the rain that falls on the subject in my painting, it dyes you with colours that create a rainbow when it meets the sun.
