"Prestige Update"
This is the third experimental development version that will introduce prestige system that resets your previous progress for bonuses.
The Prestige is a game's prestige mechanics that resets your previous progress back to the start, but you will get some numerous upgrades and boosts. You can perform the Prestige to get some bonuses, which initially gives 1 Prestige Point (PP).
You can perform the Prestige after defeating the Great Boss of Earth then entering the cutscene for the new journeys and realms, featuring friendly arcs and harpies talking about Gale at Hidden Village first; and to reach the Iedas nation at the westernmost city (West Iedas City).
Upon unlocking the Prestige, you will unlock the Prestige Upgrades to spend your Prestige Points and also be able to complete Challenges.
The number of Prestige Points per story chapter upon Prestige is given at your current story chapter, as your story chapter ascends, the more Prestige Points are given as follows:
Formula: Base Prestige Point gain based on your current story chapter * Prestige stage bonuses
At story chapter V (by defeating the Great Boss of Earth then reach the Cosette region): 1 PP
At story chapter VI (by defeating the chapter V boss): 2 PP
At story chapter VII (by defeating the chapter VI boss): 5 PP
At story chapter VIII (by defeating the chapter VII boss): 10 PP
At story chapter IX (by defeating the chapter VIII boss): 20 PP
At story chapter X (by defeating the chapter IX boss): 40 PP
At story chapter XI (by defeating the chapter X boss): 80 PP
At story chapter XII (by defeating the chapter XI boss) and before defeating the final boss: 200 PP
After defeating the final boss: 1,000 PP
Once after defeating the final boss or reaching 100% completion rate and encounter the only secret location near the end of the map (not the former secret location now called the "World's Former End" where the Great Boss of Earth is there), you can perform the special prestige mechanics that earns one Ending Point (EP). It resets anything except achievements once you prestige for an Ending Point. The Ending Points provide some stronger boosts compared to normal prestiges. Defeating the final boss after reaching 100% completion rate will earn two Ending Points instead of one.
The Rebirth is a game's only prestige mechanics that resets your previous progress back to the start, but you will get a variety of buffs at once. You can perform the Rebirth to award some buffs.
Rebirths can be performed under the required story chapter with some hard-coded specific requirements. You can perform the first Rebirth after defeating the Great Boss of Earth, the first planned boss that is used in place of the Unit 66, then entering the cutscene for the new journeys and realms, featuring friendly arcs and harpies talking about Gale at Hidden Village first; and to reach the Iedas nation at the westernmost city (West Iedas City).
First Rebirth: At story chapters 5-6 (becoming accessible after defeating the Great Boss of Earth)
Second Rebirth: At story chapters 7-8 (after completing the story chapter 6)
Third Rebirth: At story chapters 9-12 (after completing the story chapter 8)
Fourth Rebirths and beyond: After defeating the final boss
