Location Danger Index is a numeral-based scale to determine how dangerous is the particular location.
The major differences between the legacy Flash version and the planned Lost Journey version are:
Due to its vastly rescaled player stats, the danger in the same locations differs significantly between the two versions. For instance, the Forgotten Forest in the Lost Journey version is far safer than the Bandits' Lair in the legacy Flash version.
It is definitely easy to defeat the Master Computer (formerly known as the Computer Guardian) to pass off the game without some legacy goal completions required to access the pivotal Great Boss of Earth in the Lost Journey version, compared to the legacy Flash version. This is because the vastly improved player stats overall from the latter version significantly reduce the difficulty to defeat such boss without making the player die.
Overall, in the Lost Journey version, due to the complex danger in the later locations, this becomes increasingly difficult, especially late in the game. Therefore, defeating the final boss is nearly impossible without prestiges.
