Community groups can assist during times of hardship by providing a supportive environment by developing caring relationships, promoting a sense of connection and belonging, and satisfying specific needs.
The role of a community group is focused on educational, social or recreational purposes, such as a PCYC basketball program. It is closely linked to Building Relationships through a holistic approach integrated with daily routines, coaching and games.
