I always try to send items in the most economical manner, which means by Canada Post letter post. For example, I can get up to 5 light kits into a small padded envelope and send it for a total of $5CAD to anywhere in Canada.
Some of my products, like the 3D printed oil drum and motor mounts are not small enough to fit into a padded envelope and remain classified as letter mail. They will need to be posted as small parcel or small packet or whatever term Canada Post is using at the moment. Again, I will do my best to keep package weight to a minimum, while maintaining as much protection for the items using various packing materials.
I only use Canada Post. I am nowhere near being big enough to support the cost of a courier account. If you have a courier account and you wish form me to use it and charge the shipping fees to you, I will be more than happy to do so. Just provide me with the account number and contact information.
I do not lie on customs forms. Let’s be reasonable… the amount of any order that I might ship isn’t going to break anyone who has to pay the fees.
Local pick up is welcome. I prefer to do this on Saturdays or Sundays. Sometimes I am willing to meet halfway if the drive for me is either short enough (1/2 an hour from Brantford, Ontario, Canada) or, if I have something planned, I would be willing to drive farther if it was favourable to both parties.
