OLD NEWS
New rear inline s-can chassis in both can drive and endbell drive - see complete chassis picture, at right.
The new inline chassis mounts the motor at a slight angle in order to align the motor shaft with the rear axle so that standard straight cut crown gears are used to create a very smooth gear mesh.
Axle bushing/bearing mounts designed with cutouts for seating bearings flush with the side of the rear chassis to maximize use of wide wheels/tires or to better fit wheels/tires under narrow bodied cars.
Revised rear mount now using a tab and two mounting holes
Easier to mount
More control over body float
