Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs

The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) provides funding and planning for afterschool and summer school enrichment programs for transitional kindergarten through sixth grade.

“Expanded learning” means before school, after school, summer, or intersession learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. These learning programs should be pupil-centered, results driven, include community partners, and complement, but do not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and school year.

Currently we operate our Peninsula Union After School Program, free for all Peninsula students TK-6th grade. It runs all days that school is open from 12:30pm-6:30pm for TK-Kindergarteners and 3:05pm-6:30pm for 1-6th grades. If you are interested in sending your student, contact our school office.

We've also begun to offer "break camps" during during Autumn and Winter breaks and hope to expand these offerings to other breaks based on family interest. Starting in 2023, we will also be offering a summer camp program (dates and times TBD).
