Did you know...
That only 71% of Parkland Teachers' have an up-to-date online account with the ATA. Without this account, you cannot vote in the upcoming PEC elections in March (substitute teachers are members of the ATA and therefore have voting rights). Therefore, you will have no voice in determining the leadership of the Association for the next two years in which one of our own Parkland Teachers, Robert Twerdoclib, is running for ATA President.
You will also not be able to vote for a new collective agreement or catch any updates about Central Bargaining issues. The ATA has been having ongoing negotiations about our new contract. When these negotiations are complete, members will be asked to vote on this agreement.
