During the October Local Council meeting, we have invited Brian Andrais to give us a short overview of what the Member Services department at the ATA can do for teachers. There services extends to substitute teachers who also pay ATA union dues.

Many may not know what Member Services do for teachers and the scope of assistance they can provide. They can provide advice anywhere from accepting or resigning employment with a school board, to interpersonal relationships with another teacher or teacher administrator, to professional discipline, and even on legal issues.

Attached is a handout that was received during the presentation and gives a generalized overview of their services, which are free of charge, provided by our union dues.
