2016 NCTCA Teachers' Convention

The NCTCA Teachers' Convention for 2016 will be happening February 4th and 5th at the Shaw Conference Centre

As per usual, if substitute teachers from Parkland School Division wish to attend, they simply need to stop by the registration desk at Shaw, pay $10, keep the receipt and submit the receipt to the Local Council for reimbursement.

This year, they are continuing with the use of Sched platform to encourage paperless programming and ease of access. You will need to create a login profile with Sched in order to customize your own schedule for later reference (it's quite a handy feature!) but it is not necessary if you just want to browse. Since this is an app related to professional events, I highly recommend that you create a professional nickname as when you add sessions to your schedule, others will be who has signed up.

If you are on contract with a school during this time, please check with your school representative for lanyards which will grant you access to the event.
