Welcome to the Parkitect Depot - a community run website for the ever growing community of Parkitect players! Parkitect is a business simulation game that charges you with the construction and management of theme parks. Players can build rides and decorate them using ingame and modded building pieces. Over the years the game has expended and the community has made many mods, parks, scenarios, contests and tutorials. Finding all of the best projects and objects can be challenging. On this website you can find all the information a player might need to build in Parkitect, with or without mods.

If you are familiar with the game, feel free to sign up to one of the currently running competitions. These competitions are made to challenge the player to get creative and to share their work and ideas with other players. Everyone from every skill level is free to sign up.

Hello everyone!

February has ended and 7 people have submitted a park for the diorama challenge last round. At least 3 people submitted on the last day so I guess it's a good thing everyone had an extra day to build this year. Hello everyone! The deadline for September and October is here and that means it's time for a new challenge! (Voting and results for Sep-Oct will follow later).

This round we are doing something truly special: Players will have the opportunity to build their very own Vekoma Flying coaster!!! 

Using BioBazards new trains and some coaster building trickery we have created a Vekoma Flying coaster station similar to F.L.Y. in Phantasialand for all of you to use. from here on you have 2 choices: Complete and design your own layout or use a layout provided by us. 

The only extra rule here is that your are not allowed to change the coaster station (the part that is colored white). Otherwise, the same rules apply as usual. An overview video by AstroTron will follow next week.

Due to the layout of the Infinity Inverted Coaster created by KongsCakes and me for this round, this map has a bit more empty space to put other rides. So the two winners are RoboFlamingo & Dassmakker, congrats! I won't be doing a finals due to my clear lack of being able to run it & also other personal things, I appreciate everyone that has/had played in it, and we'll continue by running Diorama only. Maybe BOB will return but unlikely anytime soon. 

I do want to fully apologize though for my lack of communication and timeliness to getting out the results for this round. All of the builds were fantastic, and I hope you continue building. At some point I'll be sure to release videos on both rounds.

The Diorama Challenge for July & August is here and it's BETTER, WETTER and ˢᵐᵃˡˡᵉʳ. This time you get a chance to decorate a next generation Intamin Log Flume! The map is only 14x40 units large, but has loads of opportunities to decorate (or not decorate) as it includes a horizontal launch , a vertical elevator and some calmer river sections. Everyone is free to enter solo or together with someone else at any point up until the deadline on August 30 11:59 PM CEST!

After voting has ended the submissions will be showcased by AstroTron on his Youtube channel. You can watch the map preview here as well

DIORAMA CHALLENGE Voting May & June

June has ended and that means the submission form for May and June's Diorama Challenge has closed. With a fairly big map and complicated coaster, the Multi Dimension coaster turned out to be quite the challenge for many (experienced) players. We have seen many people struggle trying to finish the map in time and this resulted in only 2 people submitting their creation. 

Instead of extending the deadline we are just closing the submission form and leaving this round as it is. Voting for this challenge is open till July 5 2023 11:59 PM CEST!

New Front page for the website!

The last few weeks we have been working hard to improve the experience on the Parkitec Depot website. Not only has the website become the place for Parkitect contests the last few months, it has also proven to be a valuable recourse for people who are looking for the best mods and scenarios. That's why the website has a new layout so everyone can find what they are looking for even faster! From now on the new front page has an overview of information, recourses, contest deadlines and news articles. Designing a website is not easy, especially when it's run by only a handful of people, but we continue to improve as we go. Don't forget to share your feedback on the official Parkitect Discord server.

Diorama Challenge March - April has started

The Diorama Challenge map for March and April is online! This time, the players are challenged with a recreation of the new Jumanji Wingcoaster at Chessington World of Adventures. The map is relatively small at 36x38 tiles. Sing-ups aren't needed. Just grab the map file from the button below, start building and submit the finished map when you're done!

Voting for the previous month will go online soon!
