NARATIVE REPORT

Why I choose Paranaque National Highschool-Main?

As a future educator, it is very important to be able to determine where you came from and what you are striving for. Many people come to college not aware of what they want to do or of their goals for their future, but I have always known. As an educator it is very important to know what you are aiming for and what got you to where you are. I have known basically my entire life that I wanted to be a teacher for many different reasons, and I'm looking forward in Paranaque National Highschool to teach the students there.

First day of Deployment

During the first discussion or the first meet, I meet the students as well as my resource teacher. There are few students who are attending the classes, but few weeks later, a students from a different sections came to the class to attend. They are very active to participate the class, The teacher are discuss a certain topic in which the students know the lesson well, on that part, I’m amazed on what they are learning and somehow in makes my heart flutter as well.

ENCOUNTER WITH THE STUDENTS

The assigned students to me are from the sections of Tesla, Nixon, Slim, Turner and Newton of Grade 12. Each section has a total of 50-60 students, but only few of them are attending during the online discussion. They are active to participate the activities along the recitation. They are also well oriented regarding the task that they were given to them.

ENCOUNTER WITH THE TEACHERS

As of my observing experience, it helps me to learn new things and review the topic that we've already discuss during our senior high school year. My resource teacher has a characteristic of being a lifelong learner that value the the real world learning in which that will expand the knowledge of the students.

ENCOUNTER WITH THE PRINCIPAL

I don't have the personal encounter with the Principal Mr. Gerry A. Lumaban but as far as I see how he managed the school well, I'm pretty amazed that it went along that way. We only met the Head teacher of TLE and discuss what are the daily routine that school doing and as far as we see, it went nice as expected.
