It's important to know that Pennsylvania's Affiliate of the American College of Nurse Midwives worked closely with the sponsor of bill and other stakeholders to develop the ideas in the Midwifery Modernization Bill, but the final language is determined by Legislative Reference Bureau
Currently the Midwifery Modernization Bill has received its "Blueback," but has yet to be given to the Chief Clerk
Soon the Midwifery Modernization Bill will be referred to the House Professional Licensure Committee. It will need your support to be passed through committee to make it to a House vote!
