Fall Camping Trip

Join us at Camp Shands for our first Camping Trip of the year! We are planning an exciting weekend that is filled with fun and learning for everyone. As part of the fun, we have dedicated pool access from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday! For those who haven't been to Camp Shands, this is a very large pool with awesome slides.

For more information on what to bring for the weekend, as well as to find and print the required medical forms, click here: https://sites.google.com/view/pack416/activites/camping. These forms are required by Scouting to have both parts A and B filled out. We will collect them in a binder when you arrive, and then ask that you take them back with you when you leave.

Details

We will be camping at Camp Shands in Site 10. The address is 1453 Baden Powell Rd, Hawthorne, FL 32640.

Camp Shands opens at 5pm on Friday evening, and we will have adult leaders on site. Feel free to arrive when you can, we just ask that you arrive before 7pm, so there is still daylight to set up your tent. Adult leaders will be able to help set up tents if you need.

There is a bathroom with flushing toilets and running water inside our campsite. Directly behind the pool (about a 5-minute walk from our camp site) are individual showers with hot water!

Please bring your own food for Friday dinner as that is not provided by the Pack. The Pack covered meals include all three meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
