Scouting Delivers Value

When compared to sports, dance, or music instruction, the costs for scouting are lower and cover the entire year. The value the Scout program delivers to each Scout throughout their lifetime is immeasurable. We strive to put on a full-featured year-round program that teaches youth the foundations of leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness through a fun and engaging learning process. 

Scouting can be expensive. If there are issues or concerns with the cost, please reach out to Pack Leadership, as we want to ensure that any child who wants to be a Scout can be one, and we will work with each family to help with scholarships or other ways to reduce costs.

There are two annual fundraisers to help offset the cost for families. Popcorn in the fall and Camp Cards in the winter. The more the Scout sells, the lower their costs are! 

Included with the Pack Dues

We are fully in control of our Dues, which directly fund everything the Pack does. This includes Pack Meetings, awards, camping trips, adventures, and any other activity. We charge only what is needed, and we strive to keep costs at a minimum. Popcorn sales are the main way we can reduce the cost of Dues. The more popcorn we sell, the lower the cost of Dues will be!

• All Pack & Den Meeting needs

• Two or Three camping trips a year for each Scout and their parent

National & Council Fees

This amount is set by the National Organization, and we have no control of it. This money funds the National and Council levels to support the Packs and Troops with materials, camping, awards, training, and the overall Scouting Program. 

The cost for a Scout is $150 and the cost for an Adult Leader is $75. In Cub Scouts, Adult Leaders are adults that are registered with the Pack and hold a leadership position. You will get an email directly from the National Organization when your Scout(s) and/or Adult Leader renewal is due. Please note there is a hard deadline of when the registration expires - if the date passes, you will be removed from the Pack and have to re-register and pay additional fees. We are processing this renewal at the Pack level, so you'll need to pay the Pack the fees and we will pay the Council on your behalf.
