Pack Meeting - December 9th - 6pm - Duffy Elementary
The Tiger Rank is designed for children in 1st grade (ages 6–7) and builds on the foundation of the Lion program (though participation in Lion is not required). Tiger Scouts begin to develop more independence while still working closely with an adult partner, typically a parent or guardian.
The Tiger program encourages curiosity, exploration, and community involvement through hands-on activities and fun learning adventures.
Key Features:
Adult Partner Participation: Each Tiger Scout still participates with an adult partner, fostering a strong connection between parent and child.
Adventure-Based Learning: To earn the Tiger rank badge, Scouts complete six required adventures and at least two elective adventure.
Skill Development: Activities help Scouts learn teamwork, responsibility, and basic Scouting values while gaining confidence and practical life skills.
Uniform: Tiger Scouts wear the Cub Scout blue uniform with orange accents and the Tiger neckerchief and slide. Tigers are encouraged to get the blue Cub Scout belt to display their adventure belt loops earned.
