Scouts will begin working on their Bobcat Adventures. We'll have a gathering activity to being learning about Cub Scout Sign, Cub Scout Salute, and Cub Scout Handshake. We'll open as a Pack and then breakout into our Dens. Scouts will being meeting their new den members and learning about the Scout Oath and Law. As a Den, scouts will also create a Den Code of Conduct. Arrow of Light Scouts will also begin learning about the Patrol method as they begin their year preparing for Scouts BSA.

Bring your fishing poles and your camping gear. Come for one or both nights or just for the day if sleeping in a tent isn't your thing just yet.
Fishing will be hosted by the CT Rivers Council, RSVP for fishing will be required. There will be other packs from around the CT at the event.
Friday night, eat dinner before arriving, There will be a campfire with s'mores before bed.
Saturday the Pack will prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. We'll be fishing for part of the day. We'll also take a hike and explore J.N Webster as a pack. There's a gaga ball pit for scouts to play. Campfire and s'mores before bed.
Sunday will be cold breakfast as we pack up and head out in the morning. Departure by 10am at the latest.

Webelos and AOL Scouts have an opportunity to work on several adventures led by volunteers with CT Rivers Council at J.N. Webster. This is highly encouraged for all Webelos and AOL Scout. This is hosted by CT Rivers Council and RSVP is required.

American Legion Post 96 will be joining us for this pack meeting. Details to come as we finalize with the American Legion. Time/Location subject to change depending on what the American Legion would like to lead us in. Last year the Pack learned about the ceremony for retiring flags and it was conducted at Town Hall. Previous yeas it was focused on flag folding and etiquette and conducted at Duffy Elementary Cafeteria.

You've had all holiday break to put your final touches on your car. Come get it checked to make sure there's no surprises morning of the Pinewood Derby. Cars can be checked and a practice run down the track can be made.
Adult leaders will be at Duffy at 6pm to help setup the track.
Set up begins at 10am. Check-in begins by 11am (we'll start checking in sooner if we're ready). Pinewood Derby Kicks off at 11:30pm.
We will need volunteers to help with setup/breakdown and some supplies. Keep a look out in December for a SignUpGenius to signup to volunteer.

This celebratory evening we celebrate our Blue & Gold Banquet (which is like a birthday party for Scouts - Boy Scouts of America was founded February 8, 1910). Our AOLs will also officially be crossing over to their chosen Scouting America Troop. To celebrate together we will have a potluck feast! We will also be handing out a number of belt loops/pins for all pack members.

Scouts will be building a tube-fin rocket kit from Fliskits. You will need to paint/decorate your rocket on your own. They use the Standard 18mm Engines and have a parachute for recovery.

To celebrate everything our incredible Scouts have achieved, we are hosting our annual End-of-Year Picnic and Crossover Ceremony.
This is a major milestone event for our Pack where we will watch every Scout officially "step up" to their next Scouting rank.

We have annual fall and spring family campouts at White Memorial Preserve.
In August we lead a parade around the Yard Goats stadium, watch a game, then pitch our tents to sleep over right on the field.
We organize a number of hikes and outings throughout the year.
Every January, our Scouts design and race their Pinewood Derby cars.
