Youth Protection & Photos

To ensure the safety of our Scouts, Pack 161 adheres to the following photo and naming conventions:

• No Last Names: We do not publish the last names of any youth members alongside their photos on public-facing pages.

• Opt-Out: Parents have the right to opt-out of having their child’s image appear on our public website or Facebook page. Please contact the Cubmaster to update your preferences.

Information Collection

• Contact Forms: If you use our contact form, we collect your name and email only to respond to your inquiry about Pack 161.

• Third-Party Tools: We use Scoutbook for advancement and official records. Scoutbook is a BSA-owned platform that is fully COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) compliant. We do not store sensitive scout data (SSNs, health forms) directly on this website.

• Cookies: This site is hosted by Google Sites, which may use cookies to improve your browsing experience. We do not sell or share any data collected with third parties.
