Pack Meeting - December 9th - 6pm - Duffy Elementary
The Lion Rank is the entry-level program in Cub Scouts for children who are in kindergarten (age 5–6). It introduces young children and their adult partners to Scouting in a fun, age-appropriate, and engaging way. The Lion program focuses on developing foundational values such as character, leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness—all within a playful and supportive environment.
Key Features:
Parent/Guardian Involvement: Each Lion Scout participates with an adult partner (usually a parent or guardian), making it a shared experience.
Adventure-Based Program: Lions complete six required adventures and at least two elective adventure to earn the Lion badge.
Hands-On Activities: Adventures involve simple activities like games, crafts, songs, stories, and short outings, designed to build confidence and social skills.
Uniform: Lions wear a Lion T-shirt and a cap, instead of the traditional Cub Scout uniform. Lions are encouraged to get the blue Cub Scout belt to display their adventure belt loops earned.
