The final unit of work is based on the future and what pupils thought future houses will look like. Pupils were asked to compile mood boards (using Seesaw) to gather ideas on houses of the future. Next pupils designed a 3d plan using Tinkercad (pupils in Years 3 and 4 used Minecraft.)
Pupils were then asked to plan how they were going to build a model of their design - noting measurements and scale on their plan.
Once the plans were complete pupils were asked to build a model of their design using balsa wood. We had planned to use circuits to 'light up' their models, but due to time constraints pupils used the electrical circuits separately.
