An inquiry study based on Our Local Area

We had planned to do a termly topic based on Our Local Area, this inquiry-based Science and Technology project seemed to be the perfect base to our topic-based learning.  The work was completed by taking the Units and spending a week on each one.  Progression maps based on Progression Step 3 are included as resources for this project but because we as a school work with mixed age classes, Years 3 and 4 and Years 5 and 6 both classes were able to access all units.
