SUMMARY
Professional Conduct and Ethical Standards made me realize how crucial ethics, discipline, and integrity are in law enforcement. Being a future criminology practitioner, I learned that honesty, fairness, and respect for human rights should always guide my actions and decisions. This course taught me the Code of Ethics for Law Enforcers, which is a guide to good behavior in case handling, people handling, and law enforcement.
One of the most significant things I learned is professionalism. Police officers and investigators have to be calm, respectful, and unbiased at all times, regardless of the situation. I also learned about ethical dilemmas, where officers have to make difficult decisions that challenge their morals. Studying these situations taught me the significance of making the right decision, even in difficult times.
This course also led me to think critically about my values and duties. I understood that being a practitioner in the discipline of criminology is not merely about law knowledge but is also about bringing justice with truthfulness and morality. CRIM 4 inspired me to become a responsible professional with ethics and to serve society with justice and respect.
