The above map is a layering combination of all of open space, trails, and trailheads. The projected trails were omitted from this map in order to show what currently exists in Salt Lake County.
The below map displays our current greenway network. Existing trails were joined with current open space, and the displayed green open space are those areas within 100 feet of a trail. This map helps us identify where there are holes in our current greenway connections. You can see from this map that gaps in connection occur especially on the northwest side of the county. Other gaps occur close to West Jordan, Holladay, and South Salt Lake.
