Examples on how to used it
How to select the appropriate interlock switch combinations
How to install the switch properly
Laser Pulse emitted(purple line), on the rotating mirror and flaying away until impacts on a object (Time 1) one way
Energy reflected from the laser pulse (orange) after impacting on a object (Time 2) return measured in the receiver
We uses the Time of Flight (ToF) technology for detection the distance of the objects
that means:
measuring the natural energy reflected light by the objects ( no reflector needed)
Emitter and receiver in the same housing
Regular and Irregular shapes and zones
Time of Flight ( we are calculating the time that a Laser pulse is flight to determine the distance of the object)
The operator and machine are sharing the space where the box full of pieces, and with the Safety Laser Scanner (operator in zone detection ) and Safety encoder (cartesian machine position) machine will move into this shared space only when operator isnt there.

This video shows how a Safety Laser Scanner with finger/hand resolutions works in a mobile operator station,
the Safety Laser Scanner change their zones of protection according to some inputs, and following the results of the risk assessments,
actuates as Protective Stop thru the dangerous movements
