Standard that has special status and its included in the European Legal framework to support specific law/directive, named EN, that means has a special status of mandatory according to some Law or Directive.

Machinery Directive (MD):

The Machinery directive is a European law that is mandatory in al European territories, and it has their National transposition in each individual country legal system.

Includes all machinery lifetime stages: design, manufacturing, transporting, commissioning, operating, maintenance and dismantling.
