Baby Pantry Collection for the Providence Pregnancy Center is on the weekends of April 20/21 and April 27/28. The following items can be placed in the containers in the back of both churches:

Diapers (NB-4T), New Baby Clothing (NB-4T), Baby Wipes, Baby Shampoo.

Thank you in advance for your generous support for the mothers and babies served by the Providence Pregnancy Center.

Catholic Choral Society of Scranton

Spring concerts are on Friday, May 17 at 7 PM at Holy Rosary Church, 316 William St., Scranton, and on Sunday, May 19 at 7 PM at St. Ignatius Church. On the Friday concert, the Forest City Chamber Singers will be featured, and the Good Shepherd Academy Jr. High Choir will be featured on the Sunday concert. Tickets: Adults $10; Seniors/students $8; Singers & ages 12 & under free. 

The Catholic Choral Society, marking its 75th season, is comprised of members from Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wayne, Susquehanna and Wyoming counties. Director of Catholic Choral Society is Ann Manganiello, and accompanist is Linda Houck.

MOUNT CARMEL & ST. MARYS CEMETERIES NOTICE

Artificial flowers, wreaths and grave blankets are permitted from Thanksgiving through March 15.

Fresh cut flowers are permitted at all times.

Potted plants are permitted on Easter, Mothers Day, Memorial day and Fathers Day.

They will be removed one week after the holiday.
