Each of the project teams have subteams that take a turn introducing one of the class readings as a part of an in-class panel on the kickoff date. Members of the kickoff team typically get started on the reading one class session before the rest of the class. They then participate in a panel in front of the class to answer questions posed by an instructor (acting as moderator) and other classmates. Some of the questions from classmates will be from the list of questions given to the panelists in advance. Students in the class can also ask questions that they think of. The instructors can help field the questions that the panelists deem to be beyond their knowledge of the reading or topic.

Questions for the panel
[Someone from Prongles] When teams have to figure out when it makes the most sense to spend time sketching out ideas vs developing prototypes, which activity should they do when they are emphasizing user interface design relate and which activity should they do when they are more interested in usability testing?
[Someone from Crème-Betweens] Why does Bill Buxton argue that one should learn to leave holes in sketch drawings?
[Someone from Meats by Dre] In asking are personas dead yet, did McKay believe that more or less of a life story is good to include when handing off a persona to a team that will develop interfaces for that persona?
[Someone from Tappy Toes] Is providing a long list of software features the best way to make sure that user can do all of the tasks that they need to do? If not, what can designers do instead?
