Want to make life better for those in need? Why not consider a ministry of outreach and become a MESSENGER OF HOPE for the community of Freeland? There are many in our community who might need a child's warm winter coat, a backpack for school, a child's Christmas gift, or just a monthly greeting card and Forget-Me-Not Bag for our elderly and homebound, and our Veterans to let them know they are not forgotten. COATS FOR NEEDY KIDS
The Messengers of Hope distributed over 150 brand new warm winter coats for our Freeland Kids in Need this weekend. It was wonderful to watch the children select their favorite color coat, try them on, and watch their big smiles. The parents were so very grateful for your generosity. This is a time when help is most needed, and you stepped up and provided it to those who need it most. Sincere thanks to Jane and Leo Decowski, Angie Dwyer, Sharon Yefchak, Cheryl Turri, Helen Ambrose, and Stephen Croshaw for helping to make this such a success.
