The Community and Service Committee coordinates the various activities building a sense of belonging to include every parishioner in each aspect of our parish life and a caring and compassionate community focused on serving all of God’s children. The team is responsible for the implementation of parish goals and the enactment of many social outreach programs and projects of our parish and local community.
In addition, this ministry helps to plan and help with the annual parish picnic, the Freeland Food Pantry, as well as delivering Christmas poinsettias, Easter lilies, and Forget-Me-Not Bags to our elderly and homebound parishioners.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who donated a Forget-Me-Not bag and to the Community-Service Team for delivering the bags and Easter Lilies to our homebound and nursing home parishioners. Our phone has been ringing off the hook with grateful recipients. Your kindness meant EVERYTHING to them.
