Timor-Leste

After PNG, we felt we still had a few good years in us

and so we decided to take on Timor-Leste.

we found

a land of contrasts,a land of plenty,

a land of plenty,

a land in need of so much help...

Was it Divine Providence that brought us here?

Much as we’d like to think so,

all we see is someone losing out on what we have to offer

and it was not just semantics that caused the loss.

A serious lack of focus was the main culprit,

a failure to understand that chains connect us and all that we do

– cause and effect rules us all…

But all that was water under the bridge

for an unexpected visitor had come a calling

to whisk us away to a land forgotten…

But before that can happen, a pilgrimage
